My 2018 Chevy truck is a double cab and not a crew cab which makes the beds different. I see advertising for 6.5 beds and 8 foot beds. My bed is 84 inches, 7 foot. Can you please confirm if you have my correct size shell?

GM only made a 5.5', 6.5', and 8' bed length for their 2018 Silverado 1500 models. If you're measuring the outside of the bed and not the inside from the bulkhead to the tailgate you'll get a longer length like the 84" measurement you have. You would need to go with the Bestop Supertop for Truck Collapsible Bed Cover # B76303, which is designed for a 6.5' bed.
