2" Trailer Hitch Extension Around 7" Capable Of Working With Hollywood Racks RV Rider Bike Rack

Question:

Looking for 2 inch by around 7 inch trailer hitch extension for a holly wood rv bike rack the rack holds 80 lbs bikes are 64 lbs what are my choices for extension it is going on class a motorhome thanks

You should be able to use the etrailer Hitch Extender # e88YR with the Hollywood Racks RV Rider Bike Rack # HLY64FR. You will need to ensure the receiver on your class A RV motorhome is rated for at least twice as much weight as bike rack(64lbs) and your bikes. This is due to the extension reducing capacity by 50%. So with bikes weighing 64lbs each that would require a receiver rated for at least 384lbs of tongue weight. For 80lb bikes which is the maximum the bike rack can carry you need a receiver rated for at least 448lbs of tongue weight.
