How Do The Connections Work With The DG Smart LED Light Strip w/ App and Wireless IR Remote Control

Question:
if i need to cut it shorter, like for two side of the inside of a van, how can i connect both strips of it, without having to buy more stuff?

The Smart LED Light Strip w/ App and Wireless IR Remote Control # DIA66QR has a male connector on one end of the strip to connect to the controller and a female connector on the other end of the strip to connect to additional LED strips. You would not be able to cut it and still connect to another strip.
