Does the MaxxFan Plus Roof Vent Install with 16 Screws

Question:
Im about to install the Model 4000K and am a bit confused on the instructions that cam with the fan. Instruction state that there are 16 screws provided to mount unit to roof received 16 screws. Instructions state that screws go in each raised ring dimple location along the flange. Flanch only has 13 raised ring dimple locations. 5 on each side and 3 at the front. On the hinged side there are no raised dimple locations. Only 7 dimpled spots. There are dimples on the 3 other sides in addition to the 13 raised ring dimples. Am I supposed to use three of the dimple spots on the hinge side? Thanks

When installing the MaxxFan Plus Roof Vent w/ 12V Fan and Thermostat # MA00-04000K, there should be 16 screws used. This does include 3 along the backside where the hinge is located. I am not sure why yours does not have spots on the backside.
I have included a picture of the hinge side of the # MA00-04000K that we have and you can see 3 spots on the back/hinge side for the screws.
If you need additional help, please send in a picture of what yours looks like. This will help me better understand what you have going on.
