Yes, the Roadmaster FuseMaster Fuse Bypass, # RM76511, will work on your 2011 Ford Edge. Using this fuse bypass will not affect the tail lights on your Edge or the tow dolly because they will receive power from the tow vehicle.
If your tow dolly does not have tail lights and you plan on using the tail lights on your Edge, then you will also want a tail light wiring kit. Use # HM56001. These wiring kits connect inline with your tail light wiring at the tail light assemblies and provide a 4-way trailer connector at the front of the Edge. If you need a different connector than a 4-way you can cut it off and replace it. If your tow vehicle uses a 4-way round connector, then you could use the Pollack 4-Way Round Connector, # PK11402. If your tow vehicle uses a different connector, let me know what type and I would be happy to make a recommendation.
If your tow dolly has tail lights, then you would not need to use the tail lights on your Edge. The dolly should come with a wiring harness already installed and you would not need to worry about an additional harness or interference with the fuse bypass.
