The RockyMounts VanTrack for Fork Mount Bike Racks # RKY56FR will require that you drill into your truck bed for installation. I have included the instructions and a video that shows the installation. The video is not in a truck bed, but will still require drilling. The VanTrack will work with RockyMounts Driveshaft HM, HotRod and LoBall series bike racks like the RockyMounts HotRod Truck Bed Bike Carrier # RKY1087.

The VanTrack is 24" wide. You can space the bike racks apart, but whether you can fit both mountain bikes will depend on how wide the handle bars are.

There really isn't a great way to lock the VanTrack, its main theft prevention is inconvenience because you would basically have to do the whole installation process in reverse to get the track up.

As far as securing the bikes, you can use a cable lock like the etrailer Cable Lock # e98891 to feed through the bike and a tie-down point in your truck bed.
