2020 Jeep Wrangler Aries ActionTrac Running Boards Won't Retract on Driver's Side Only
Updated 08/16/2023 | Published 08/15/2023 >
Question:
I have a 2020 Jeep 4 door Wrangler fitted with Aries Retractable Running Boards. Just recently, the drivers side running board will not retract fully. Both sides will extend fully when the doors are opened but the drivers side will retract but not fully leaves about a 4 inch gap. Passenger side retracts fully. I don’t see any stones or anything that would keep it from retracting. Any suggestions as to how to fix this?

Thank you for your purchase directly from etrailer of the Aries ActionTrac Motorized Running Boards # AA3036571. If the driver's side step won't retract the issue could be a sensor somehow got dirty or moved so try wiping it with an alcohol wipe. The other issue could be a magnet got misaligned. Per the manal, to test that, have only one door sensor connected, and if the board doesn't close, the alignment is off. Thank you again for purchasing the # AA3036571 the from etrailer.
