I have a rental truck. What about removal of the magnetic mounting strips.

Expert Reply:
The backing of the magnetic mounting strips # 3378895404 is 3M adhesive tape. It is a strong adhesive, and it can be removed without damaging the paint. When you remove them you will need to use Goo Gone or the 3M General Purpose Adhesive Remover. This won't hurt your paint but you'll need to be careful not to scratch the paint when removing the adhesive.
