Question:
Difference between 45154 and 45056.will be used exclusively for 1 horse trailer

Expert Reply:
The difference between the # C45056 and the # C45154 is that the # C45154 is a fusion ball mount. Meaning the ball is permanent and can not be removed from the draw bar. The # C45056 has a removable ball. This allows it to be used in either the drop or rise position. Also, if you ever had a need to swap it out for a 1-7/8" or 2-5/16" ball you will be able to do so. Other than that they are virtually identical with a 7.5K capacity. If you will only ever be towing one horse trailer that uses a 2" ball and requires a 4" drop, the Curt Fusion ball mount # C45154 will do just fine.
