Question:
You have some tow bars listed that will work with the BX1122 base plate, but the BX7322 Adventure is not one of them. Looking at the pictures it looks like they would be compatible but I wanted to make sure before I purchase anything.

The Adventurer tow bar, # BX7322, may only be used with base plates that have a 16 inch to 36 inch spaced removable tab width. Using Blue Ox base plates # BX1122 on your 2006 Jeep Liberty you will have a width of 20 inches which is within the range of the tow bar.
This tow bar is rated for 5,000 pounds. Once loaded your Jeep Liberty could potentially weigh more than this given that the curb weight of the vehicle is listed at about 4,000 pounds depending on the model. You will need to stay under the tow bar capacity to use it.
This tow bar does not come with safety cables so you will need to add those as well using # BX88196. These cables match the tow bar capacity of 5,000 pounds.
You will also need a lighting solution to tow the Jeep. If you will not be doing a lot of towing then I recommend a magnetic kit, # RM-2120. It does not require cutting into the vehicle wiring for installation. If you will be towing the Jeep often then I recommend a more permanent solution such as a bulb and socket kit, # RM-155. Both of these kits bypass the vehicle wiring.
And finally, most states now require supplemental braking on the vehicle being flat towed. One of the easiest systems to set up and use is the Blue Ox Patriot proportional system # BLU37TR. It will apply the Jeep brakes in proportion to how much the tow vehicle is braking. This is the safest way to stop and it reduces wear and tear on both vehicles.
Be sure to consult the vehicle owners manual for additional information on flat towing the Jeep. I have included a couple of helpful links to our series of articles on flat towing for you.
