Replacement Leaf Spring For a 1991 Jacobsen Single Axle Utility Trailer Rated at 3,450LBS

Question:

I’m looking for leaf springs for my trailer and can’t seem to find the right ones. They measure 25.75 wide. 1.25 tall or thickness of the 4 leafs stacked together and are 1.75 wide. The trailer is a 91 Jacobsen single axel utility trailer rated at 3450 total weight. Can you recommend.

It sounds like the 4-Leaf Double-Eye Spring # e54SR is the correct spring for your 1991 Jacobsen single axle trailer. This spring is a 4-leaf, 1-3/4" wide and rated for a 3,500lb trailer axle. The spring is 25-1/8" long from center of eye to center of eye. As your springs are older they are likely sagged and will not return to their original length. You can verify this is the correct spring by measuring along the radius of the spring from center eye to center pin on the leaf spring. If you have 13-3/16" this is the correct spring for your trailer. If you have a different measurement please let me know and I can verify the correct leaf spring for your trailer.
