I recommend going with the Yakima JetStream roof rack on your 2023 Mazda CX-5. You will need the Crossbars # Y00425, Towers # Y64AR and Fit Kit # Y39AR. These crossbars have the integrated channel for adding roof mounted accessories on your roof which are not capable of clamping around the bars.
I recommend including the Lock Cores # Y07208. This will allow you to secure your roof rack and 4 other Yakima same key compatible accessories with the same key.
