It does; even with a weight distribution with sway control you can add the Curt True Course Advanced Bluetooth Trailer Sway Control # C94VV.
Sway control on a weight distribution hitch can be very effective, but even the best hitches rarely completely stop sway, so adding the # C94VV to assist in the never-ending battle against trailer sway is a good idea.

OPINION: Kyle is correct and a proven and reliable resource who checks before he speaks. This is highly appreciated, especially when it comes to the fine Curt electronic products, where the USA Curt reps tend to give very inconsistent guidance about their products (verified). I have done extensive research on the CURT True Course Sway Control, and here is what my summary, and indeed my setup says experientialy: 1»The unit is indeed compatible with their Curt electronic, wireless braking system and any other trailer braking system. The Curt wireless braking system a d tgeir True Course sway systen have to be initially set up one at a time with Bluetooth, but they are installed in sequence and operate independently. Each takes over the braking, as needed. ???? Importantly, once installed, they then operate independent of the app or Bluetooth connection, so, safety is insured. 2»Whereas the True Course does operate over subtle and gross sway conditions, it is very effective at reacting to avoidance maneuvers and to building/reinforcing sway motions. Note: It is admittedly hard to know what is being avoided, but tested in high wind, the pull was smooth for me and with it disconnected, I was much more aware of the trailers back-pull. Some have suggested that Curt should data-log the unit's braking interventions; so, the owner can be more educated on the conditions that the True Course reacts to. Personally, I think that this is a brilliant addition to Curt's app and would make it a valuable tool for every camping and other appropriate trailer out here. It would be simple to deploy with an update to firmware and software. It would truly differentiate Curt. 3»It is a great augmentation to my Shocker sway bar that gives that extra stiffness in high winds, semi truck and wind gusts, which the Curt reacts to as well but in conjunction with the swaybar. They are not totally redundant, and that is why I think that they are used on small and large rigs as well, all with sway bars and weight distribution systems, as a powerful combination. They should not represent these as "either/or". [Kindly note (not verified): I was told by an acquaintance -who tows a large ski-boat behind his 40-foot 5th-wheel that he has an incredibly pricey swaybar system that uses physical bars but with electronic brakes right on the bars. I have no idea what he is talking about, but since I know that he never backs up loads like that, he could still perhaps benefit from the fact that with just the trailer attached: the electronic sway control arm brakes would allow such backing but likely not sharpe turns. If I were him, I would still use the Curt anti-sway on his trailers in conjunction to his sway bars.] 4»There is no doubt that the Curt unit is always sensing, whether the sway arm is engaged or off. Its status is shown on the unit, and the app shows that it is ready and monitoring. 5» Also, if there are no heavy winds, the sway bar can be removed easily to allow for tight turns, and if on the highway, we hit a lot of wind, we can easily (with sway protection running all the time -with the Curt), get to a point to put the Shocker bar back on, or flip its lever, if it is already mounted. The electronic and mechanical systems insure that all levels of sway variants are addressed. It is my opinion that the best system for safety and peace of mind is one that uses any swaybars or weight distribution system with also the Curt True Course. The physics of so many sway variables is unpredictable; so, different approaches to sway avoidance and mitigation, working together, clearly have the greatest chance to cover more possibilities. 6»Lastly, if either system fails or is not engaged or set correctly, then the other sway system still works. One is purely mechanical and restricts tight turns as well as backing up, and the other allows turning sharply and backing up but is electrically dependent. Either way, there is sway protection. The same is true with weight distribution/sway systems. 7»Conclusion: There is a sea of misinformation.out there about all the above systems. However, based on my research and experience so far; the Curt True Course system is simple to install, relatively inexpensive and works great wonderfully alone or even better with any sway and weight distribution hitches out there. I think that combining the two has been sorely o erlooked, because the manufacturers see it only as "either/or", wich then limits the safety choices for all of tge consumers. Yes, it is unfortunate that I had to do extensive research to find out what the true compatibites and applications were for the Curt electronic systems, but I got through the misinformation and arrived at what works stunningly well for me. ?????? Thus shared, I hope that this helps save folks the gigantic waste of time and uncertainty of figuring out the validity of these units for their safety and for truly enhancing existing systems for sway control!
