Question:

1999 silverado LS 4x4 6 bed looking fot hitch my camper is 7000 # not that i tow it alot but if i want to i want to be able to do it what is the best hitch for me

The best hitch for your 1999 Chevy Silverado LS is the Curt Trailer Hitch item # C15323. This is a class V hitch with a 2" receiver. It has a massive 16,000 lbs capacity which will not be overrated for your truck. It fits the 1500 and 2500 LD models for that generation of truck. The LS was a trim package that was more interior options than structural changes that would effect fitment of an aftermarket hitch. If you have the stock bumper the Curt item # C15323 will work.

Most of the hitches available for your Silverado top out at 6,000 lbs and in order to get a 7,000 lbs capacity out of it you have to use a weight distribution system. This is why I recommended the Curt item # C15323 which is a class V.
