Question:
I`m flat towing my 2023 Silverado and using roadmaster 9160 braking system. It seems like my brakes are being applied to hard on the truck. There are vehicles that dont use vacuum assist brakes that require a pressure reducing valve in the airline coming from the motorhome. Can you tell me if i should need this and how much should i reduce the pressure? When Im towing the battery is disconnected. Thank you.

I spoke with Roadmaster about your issue, and they confirmed that you are going to need the Roadmaster Brake Pressure Reducer for BrakeMaster Supplemental Braking System # RM-900002 for your Roadmaster BrakeMaster System w BrakeAway for RVs w Air or Air Over Hydraulic Brakes # RM-9160.
When you adjust the pressure, there is not a set guide you'll just need to try it and lower it or increase it as needed.
