Is Drilling Required To Mount The Rear View Safety Backup Camera System Camera On The Truck?
Published 07/28/2023 >
Question:
Where is the camera mounted on the truck, and is there drilling required?
asked by: Kirk
Helpful Expert Reply:
The camera included with the Rear View Safety Backup Camera System # RVS-770614-213 for mounting on your truck can be mounted wherever you need it. Depending on where you decide to mount it will determine if you are required to drill for the included mounting bracket. Typically the camera is placed either in the bed for help aligning a 5th wheel or at the bumper for help hitching to a conventional trailer. If you do not want to drill into your truck you may be able to create custom mounting bracket off a nearby fixture such as the license plate bracket.
