Question:
Hello I am getting ready to install the eco hitch EH34FR on my 2023 Outback wagon. I read that the bumper needs to be removed. Is this hard to do. Can I do this at home or Do I need to take it to a mechanic.

You are correct in that the rear bumper will need to be completely removed to install the Eco Hitch # EH34FR on a 2023 Subaru Outback Wagon. While I do not consider this an "easy" step, it can certainly be done. I recommend getting a trim tool kit like # PT73HJ. This should make the job easier and will help prevent damage to the paint or finish. I have linked our install video below if you want to take a closer look at the process.
That said, if you are not comfortable doing that kind of work it is completely understandable. Not to underestimate your abilities, but we typically recommend having a professional installer do this kind of work.
