Question:
Hello, Can I use Replacement Legs for Reese M5 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch for Chevy/GM Item # RP86FR with Reese Elite RE 18K hitch? Just replace the legs. Can the legs RP86FR be bolted to the rest of Reese Elite RE 18K? I am switching from 2008 Ford F-250 to 2023 Chevy Silverado 3500. Thank you

Expert Reply:
The Reese M5 and Elite hitch heads are different so you would not be able to swap the legs of what you have now to use your current hitch head with your new truck. The Elite hitch is actually no longer made but the Reese part # RP58FR would be a solid choice for a hitch for your new 2023 Chevy Silverado 3500.
