Question:
I am installing the Air Force One braking system on my 2015 Ford F150. I just finished the truck side and installed the fuse. My reed switch is lit up and so is the indicator light on the back of my mirror. Not sure what to do I belive I have it wired the way the diagram shows.

Most likely the reed switch on the back of the actuator is likely out of adjustment. Loosen the clamp and slide it towards the firewall of your F-150 until it goes off. Re-check calibration of the switch by depressing pedal with one hand and pulling on the back of the actuator, the light should illuminate when pulled and go off when released. If that doesn’t fix the problem re-check the wiring for your Air Force One # SM99243 and make sure it matches up to the diagram.
It is also possible that your reed switch arced to ground and is causing the light to remain on. This would need to be replaced with part # SM6245.
