Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look together at this replacement Reed switch with bracket for your Demco Air Force One flat tow brake system. Now, this is most commonly needed as a replacement either because the original switch has worn out or it's been damaged, and this is the Reed switch assembly that's used in Demco's Air Force One's supplemental braking system for flat towed vehicles. So in simple terms, it's a small electrical sensor that's gonna help the braking system know when it should activate. When the Air Force One system applies the brakes in the towed vehicle, this Reed switch is going to detect the movement and send the proper signal to, so everything works safely and correctly.
Now, it is an important behind the scenes component that's going to help ensure that the braking system responds when it's supposed to, and you're going to get exactly what you see here. This is going to be a complete assembly, so you're gonna be getting both the Reed switch and the mounting bracket that you see here. So it's gonna be easier to replace an existing switch without having to reuse old hardware. This is the direct replacement from Demco, so you're not gonna have to worry about compatibility issues, fitment issues, or anything like that. But if you happen to have any other questions, whether it's about this or anything else that we have here at etrailer, don't hesitate to reach out because ultimately we do wanna make sure that you're getting exactly what you need.
Well, again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.

Was not an exact match, that was my fault. I did not realize I had a 3-wire switch on my system. Replaced the switch and tested. The new switch works just fine. my original documents had instructions on both a 2-wire and a 3-wire.
This switch worked. Too bad my switch included from the factory with my recently purchased $1500 Demco AF1 was defective and I had to pay another $60 to get a functioning system.
