Can The Thule Or Yakima Vehicle Awnings Be Mounted To The Roof Rack Of A Winnebago Revel

Question:

I am wondering if either the Yakima or Thule 6.5 ft. wide awnings can be mounted over the rear door of a Winnebago Revel with the stock rack.

With how the stock rack of the Winnebago Revel is you wouldn't be able to use the clamp-on installation methods for the Yakima SlimShady Awning # Y36VR or Thule HideAway Awning # TH490008. You would have to custom fabricate some brackets to either bolt through the rails of the rack or clamp to them. Both awning do have wall mount brackets that you could get separately to help mount to whatever you come up with for the rails (Yakima # Y84AR and Thule # TH308960).
