Question:

Can the Yakima 201135 rails be installed on a 2017 Ford F150 XLT Crew Cab with the 5 6 short bed with a Lund soft cover?

I think you are talking about the Yakima 60" Tracks for Roof Racks # Y01135 because I did not locate anything with the 201135 number and that number is similar to the Y001135.

Since you have a Lund soft tonneau cover on your F-150, I am guessing that you want to mount these rails on the trucks side rails? If that is the case, while you may be able to do it, that is not what the # Y01135 rails were designed for. They were designed to work on naked-roofed vehicles, camper shells and on hard tonneau covers.

You biggest issue will be finding a system that is compatible with your Lund soft cover. We do not carry that brand, so I am not super familiar with them. I have listed out some options below that may work and included how they attach to your bed. You will just want to look at your cover and rails and see if any of these style will work with your cover.

- Thule TracRac SR Sliding Truck Bed Ladder Rack # TH43002XT-508 (attaches is your trucks stake pockets)

- Adarac Aluminum M-Series Custom Truck Bed Ladder Rack # AD49FR (mounts in your trucks stake pockets, also states it works with most inside the rails tonneau covers)

- Putco Venture Tec Overland Truck Bed Rack # P184100 (mounts in your trucks stake pockets, also states it is compatible with inside the rails tonneau covers)

If none of these work, fabricating something with rails like the # Y01135 may be the way to go.
