Question:

I want to mount the hullivator on my 2007 nissan xterra. I Bought the Thule wingbar evo 135 53” bars based on the advice that was provided but they don’t seem to fit. They are too wide. Am I missing something or was that incorrect information? What solution do I have? I need some overhang in order to mount the hullivator

I'm sorry to hear about that, however I did go ahead and do some research and it actually appears that Thule does not currently have a set of crossbars that'll work with your Xterra, however I do have another solution that'll allow you to use the Thule Hullavator Pro # TH898.

What you can do is use the Rhino-Rack Vortex Aero Crossbars # RRVA118B-2 with the Rhino-Rack SX Series Legs # RRSX008 instead. These crossbars will be appropriately fitted for your vehicle and will allow you to also use the Thule Hullavator Pro like you're wanting to do.
