Question:

2010 Mini cooper S with the 1.6 liter turbocharged engine. Threre is no baseplate specifically listed for this model. Can you recommend a baseplate that will fit? If none are a direct fit, can you recommend the closest model that may fit with modification as require? Thanking you in advance.

The Roadmaster EZ Base Plate Kit # 521877-1 states that it works with both the hard top and convertible "S" models of the 2010 Mini Cooper. I did verify this with the manufacturer. I do recommend verifying in the owners manual that your Mini can be flat towed. I tried looking this up for you, but did not find much on the subject.

You will also need a tow bar, safety cables, tow bar wiring and a supplemental braking system for flat towing.
