I have a 2022 Outback Wilderness. Id like to use this platform. The page seems to indicate that crossbars arent necessary...is that correct? What would I use to attach to the existing rails on my roof if I dont need the crossbars?

Yes, the Thule Caprock Platform Roof Tray # TH48YE can mount to the roof of your 2022 Subaru Outback Wilderness without crossbars if used with the correct Thule feet. Since you have raised rails you'll need the Evo Raised Rail Feet for Thule Crossbars # TH710401.
