The Custer LED Amber Quad Flash Kit, # CPL65A-STR, was not designed to be surface mounted. The sockets for the plug-in wiring harnesses protrude past the back of the light so they would not sit flat. The only surface mount flashing amber lights that we offer are magnetic lights like the Custer Adjustable Amber LED Emergency Light, # HF18A-MB.
