2003 Honda Pilot EX with full sized spare. Looking to add a bike rack figure max 250lbs of bikes. Which hitch and wiring would be best for this vehicle?

To add a hitch to your 2003 Honda Pilot EX, I recommend the etrailer Hitch item # e98851. This hitch is custom fit and bolts to your Honda with included hardware. It is compatible with a full size spare tire. This is a class III hitch with a 2" receiver so it will have plenty of capacity to handle 250 lbs of bikes and rack.

For a compatible wiring harness you will want the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector item # C55336. This custom-fit T-connector plugs into your Pilot's wiring harness, which is located in your rear cargo area. It will provide you with a 4-flat trailer connector that will allow you to control your trailer or accessories lighting functions.

If you are planning on towing you will also need a ball mount kit item # C45534.
