Did Bottom Bracket of Firestone Kit 2407 Change
Updated 06/20/2023 | Published 06/17/2023 >
Question:
Bought the 2407 kit for a 21 Tacoma and in some photos it looks like the base plate that the bottom of the bag bolts to has a part that 90s down to the axle housing with a cutout thats supposed to rest on the housing. In some photos however that part is not there and on the kit that I received its also not there. Was this just redesigned or did I receive the wrong parts?

First, thanks so much for your purchase from etrailer of the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs # F2407. I believe I see what you are saying and this did have a bottom bracket at one point, but that has changed. The plate the air bag rests on now bolts to two bracket straps and not one bracket. So you do have the right kit.
