Question:
I am looking for a hitch bike rack that can carry 2 bikes, one of which is a heavy, long, cargo bike. Needs to fit a 2015 Mazda 3 hatchback. Previously, your team recommended the Hollywood rack Item # HLY64FR, which will work, but the hitch you recommended Item # 306-X7305 has only a 300lb tongue weight, while the rack requires 350 lbs. Please help! We really want to get this set up for the summer. Thanks

You are able to use the Hollywood Racks RV Rider Bike Rack # HLY64FR behind your 2015 Mazda 3 Hatchback with the EcoHitch Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver # 306-X7305. The 350lb minimum weight rating is required when using the bike rack behind a 5th wheel camper. This is required on a 5th wheel as they bounce more than other RV's causing a more violent ride behind a 5th wheel than you will experience behind your Mazda 3.
I do recommend installing the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118405 when you install the receiver. This will allow you to use Auxiliary Lights # C53201 behind your bike rack since the view of your tail lights will likely be impaired by your bikes.
