The 7- and 4-Pole Trailer Connector Socket # HM40975 is designed to connect directly to the USCAR connector which is found on several vehicles. We do have the Plug Adapter # PK11933 which will connect to the factory tow package wiring found on your 2004 Dodge Ram if the wiring is not there. If you do not have the tow package and are wiring the truck for this connector you will need the Universal Wiring Harness # C56229.
