Determining If Wider Tire Can Be Installed On Jayco Qwest Pop-Up with 5.30x12 Tires

Question:

Hello, I have a Jayco Qwest pop-up camper with 5.30 x 12 tires, 4 on 4 wheels. Do you know if here is a size wider tire I could run on this camper. Just want to get rid of the pizza cutter look. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Steve

I may have one option for a 1" wider tire to replace the 5.30 x 12 tires on your Jayco Qwest Pop-up, but to be honest you're probably better off sticking with the tire size you have as pop-up trailers rarely have much room for larger tires.

The only option would be a 175/80D13 tire and wheel like the # AM3S040 which has the same 4 on 4" bolt pattern you need, but will be a 1" wider tire at 6.6" overall width.

However to make sure this is going to work you need to make sure you have at least 1-1/2" between the inside edge of your current tire and the frame, and at least 4" of clearance between the top of the tire and the body as the above tire is also 2" taller overall as well.
