I recommend using a Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution System as it continues to be one of the most trusted weight distribution hitches. You are at a weight that falls in between 2 different systems(listed below) so you will want to select the one depending on if 600lbs is your dry tongue weight or if that is the maximum loaded tongue weight. Also I see you mentioned your 2015 Ford F-150 having a 500lb hitch weight limit. Be sure to verify if that is only for conventional towing and if it goes up for weight distribution as you should never exceed any weight capacities given by Ford.

200-600lbs Tongue Weight, Trailer Up to 6,000lbs # EQ37060ET
600-1,000lbs Tongue Weight, Trailer Up to 10,000lbs # EQ37100ET

The 6,000lbs # EQ37060ET will come with a 2" Ball # EQ91-00-6080 while the 10,000lbs # EQ37100ET includes a 2-5/16" Ball # EQ91-00-6100. The hitch balls can be changed if you need the larger or smaller size ball for your application. You will need a 1-7/8" 12pt Thin Walled Socket # ALL643216 to mount either ball on the hitch.
