I just bought a 2017 BMW X3 2.8i with MSport. I see no mention of MSport in the criteria on your hitches. From looking into this in the past the MSport can make hitches tedious. I just want to ensure Im looking at products that will fit.

Definitely smart to check, but there are no restrictions for the M Sport for trailer hitch fits on your 2017 BMW X3. So you can install a hitch without any issue.
