Does Weight Distribution System Need Adjusting if Suspension Enhancement Has been Installed
Published 06/07/2023 >
Question:
Hello, I recently installed timbrens on my truck. My question is if my camper will sit a little bit higher, what would i need to adjust on my WDH? Would it be just something on the head? the L brackets? or both? My WDH is part# RE94FR. Thanks

You would need to lower the spring bar tension a little bit since you have Timbrens now on your truck. Since you have the Reese Round Bar WD system part # RE94FR this will be done by changing the angle of the head of the system using the washers that are in the head. You will end up going with fewer washers in the head to accomplish this. If you check out the attached install instructions you will see how to do this.
