Hello...looking for roof cross bars that I can mount to the black channels on the roof. I prefer not to secure the bars to the door jams. 2019 Colorado ZR2 Crew Cab. Thx

For naked roofs like your 2019 Chevy Colorado the only option would be to use a clamp-style roof rack that would grip onto the door jamb to secure the feet for your crossbars. On some vehicle the manufacturer will put fixed mounting points in the channel you're referring to, but Chevy did not in this case.
If you're looking for a quality roof rack that won't break the bank then I would go with Rhino Rack and get the following components:
