Question:
I have a 23 CS Cobalt, I have 36” trailer guides, the left side has recently been getting rub marks? This is on front section of boat. Just got new canvas guide covers to see if it helps.

With post style guide-on's like the CE Smith # CE27620 rubbing is a common possibility. We do have the Ark Ezi-Guides Self-Aligning Boat Trailer Loading System # AR84FR which will be a better option. These will help you load your boat in strong winds and currents without having the posts that cause rub marks.
