Question:
Do you have a 2-leaf light duty trailer leaf spring that is 2 wide? If not, would a 1-3/4 wide spring be an acceptable substitute?

Expert Reply:
Our lightest 2" wide spring is the Dexter 4-Leaf Slipper Spring # DX93QR which is 26-3/4" long with a hook end for 2,500lb trailer axles. You should not get hung up on the number of springs in the pack as they do not have to match when replacing both leaf springs. If your spring hangers are designed for a 2" leaf spring that is the size you should replace it with. If your axles are rated for a higher capacity let me know so I can help you find the right capacity.
