Comparing Roadmaster Comfort Ride to Air-Ride and Torsion Axles for Triple Axle 5th Wheel

Question:

Id like to upgrade my triple Axle 5th wheel suspension. It has 7k lb axles. Im considering the roadmaster Slipper spring setup and the air ride equalizer setup. Option 3 is bring it Elkhart in and have moryde install torsion axles. I think the Slipper springs with shocks would have same effect as torsion axles maybe even better with the shocks. I cant find any real reviews on the air ride, also the trailer is advertised as 13-06 height so raising the trailer 2 isnt a great idea.

The Roadmaster Comfort Ride Leaf Spring Suspension Kit w/ Shock Absorbers # RM-2460-2570-3 is going to be the best upgrade option for your 5th wheel. This setup will create an independent suspension similar to torsion axles but with the added benefits of the shock absorbers.

The Lippert Center Point by Trailair Air-Ride Suspension Upgrade # LC1565401 will keep your axles tied together through the equalizer, so you would lose that independent axle operation. These are also not compatible with the Roadmaster shock absorbers so you would lose that advantage as well.
