Question:
My 2023 Chevy 2500 HD High Country has a diesel tail pipe that runs almost straight back. Angles a bit to passenger side. Is this product okay to use or will the exhaust be too hot for it?

Expert Reply:
The RoadMaster RoadWing Removable Mud Flap System for Full Size Trucks # RM-4400 will need to be trimmed if the flaps are in the path of the exhaust. Exhaust heat can melt the mud flaps, but they can be trimmed. So, you would just want to trim away where the exhaust would be hitting the mud flaps.
You could also add the Heat Shield for Rock Tamers Mud Flaps # RT76FR, if you'd rather not trim the mud flaps.
