i recently bought a hitch and a wire harness for my 2014 ford explorer, Item # 118540, In the instructions it says to disconnect the connector on the passenger side and place this t connector in place. My ford only has one connector there and is not connected to anything. Ive been told its the correct harness but how do i install it, the connectors doesnt look like they match up.

Thank you for the image, I can confirm that is the correct connector for the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118540 on your 2014 Ford Explorer. You will place the cap back on the unused tee portion of the harness to protect the wiring.
