Question:

I have a new 2023 Honda CR-V Hybrid Sport Touring. I think the correct hitch is the C13397? and is C56370 the correct wiring and is it just plug and play? Will the installation of this hitch still allow me to swipe my leg under the car and the rear hatch will lift or do you make a kit for that to still work? Thank you

Yes, you are correct. The Curt Trailer Hitch item # C13397 is the correct hitch for the 2023 Honda CR-V Hybrid. The wiring harness is going to depend on whether or not your CR-V is front wheel drive or all wheel drive. I have listed both options below. One is custom fit and the other requires splicing.

All Wheel Drive - Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness item # C56370

You may lose some of the range on the Hands Free Liftgate feature. This usually happens right around the 2" receiver and you will need to kick around to the left and right of it to find where the sensor isn't blocked.

To round out your towing setup I recommend the Curt Towing Starter Kit for 2" Hitches item # C45534. This towing kit will provide you with a 2" ball and a fixed ball mount with a 3/4" rise and 2" drop. It also includes a hitch pin and clip, hitch receiver lock with keys, hitch cover, and a storage case.
