Recommended Roof Rack for a Hullavator on a 2011 Toyota Venza w/ the Moonroof and No Side Rails

Question:

Hi, I have a 2011 Toyota Venza with a sunroof and moon roof, but it does not have a roof rack installed. I would like to purchase the Thule Hullavator Pro Kayak Carrier and Lift Assist, so Im wondering if you can direct me to a after-market roof rack that would work on the Venza and work with the Thule. Thanks! s

To use the Thule Hullavator item # TH898 on your 2011 Toyota Venza you're going to need to install a set of crossbars that extend 4" - 8" past the roof racks legs. This allows the lift assist function of the Hullavator to work.

Since your Venza does not have a roof rack and you have the glass roof there aren't many options. There is a roof rack that will work for you since you do not have the side rails. You will want the roof rack by Yakima and it includes the following parts:
