Look to replace my screen door latch on my 2015 Forest River Wildcat Maxx. Is a left hand open ...means the door opens to the left. Correct.

Yes that's correct. So the Lippert RV Entry Screen Door Latch # LC201472 you're looking at will work as a replacement for left hand opening doors.
It can be al little confusing since this latch will be installed on the right hand side of your door, but the door itself will swing to the left to open.
Additionally, this part measures 3-11/16" long, has a 1-3/16" width and the mounting holes are located about 3" on center.
