Hello, I have previously used the dexter brand 12 1/4 4 inch electric brake on my 10k dexter axle, can I use your AKEBRK-10R and 10L as a replacement, if so what is the main difference besides width, thanks

Yes, for your Dexter 10k axles you can use the 10k brake assemblies part # AKEBRK-10R and # AKEBRK-10L that you mentioned. These were designed for your Dexter 10k axles and the slight narrower width would not be an issue at all.
