How long is the grease buddy?

The total length of the Bearing Buddy Bearing Protectors part # BB2441 is 2-1/4" with the bra installed. That said, it won't stick out from the hub this much as it does press into the hub bore slightly. This will vary from trailer to trailer but I'd say 1/8" is a good estimate.
