I have a harbor freight folding trailer, which I have reinforced with c-channel on the tongue. The tires are 4.80x12. What are the widest tire that I can put on the stock rims? Is a wider 12, 4 lug wheel made?

Yes, there is a wider tire and wheel with a 4 on 4 pattern. It is the Taskmaster 5.30-12 Bias Trailer Tire with 12" Silver Mod Wheel item # TA66RR. The 5.30-12 tire has a section width of 5.3" and has a diameter of 21.9". This tire is a Load range C with a maximum load capacity of 1,050 lbs at 80 psi.

The Taskmaster 5.30-12 Bias Trailer Tire item # TTWSF53012C will mount on a 12" x 4" wheel like item # TA99RR. This is the largest tire that will fit on those rims.
