Can 1,200 lb Timbren Axle Less Kit be Upgraded to 2,000 lb Capacity
Published 04/18/2023 >
Question:
I have a Timbren ASR1200S4 and it looks like the rubber spring is bulging from the axle system. Is it possible to upgrade the rubber springs to a 2000 lb capacity with out buying a new axle less system? My homebuilt tear trailer is around 900 lbs, and I think I’m pushing the 1200 lb limit of the axle less system. And do you sell the replacements? Thank you very much for your time!

Since Timbren does not have a way to upgrade your Axle Less system your best option would be to replace your current system with the part # ASR2000S01 which is the 2k kit you mentioned. The hubs you currently have would fit the spindles of this kit though.
