Question:
Hello I bought a 165w panel from you last year to ad to my rv. I mounted it and then put my trailer in storage due to illness and my copd after getting covid. Then this spring I see the panel is shattered and I havent even got to use it. And of course the warranty is void by now. I cant find my sales invoice or purchase info. What would have caused this? I live in sedona arizona and the weather here isnt bad but we did get a small snow once this winter. Mostly rain. You panel say impact resistant and I dont see any debris around the trailer and I just cant figure out what could have happened. Any ideas?

I'm sorry to hear about your panel but I'm not an accident recreation specialist so it's hard for me to say exactly what happened. That said, the two likely causes are either impact or thermal stress. The panel will actually still work even with the cracks, the output might not as high as before and over time the cracks can let water in which will then eventually destroy the panel. If you do decide to replace, I suggest the Go Power Overlander Expansion Kit part # 34282182. This panel is tested for impact and is rated for quarter size hail up to 55 mph. I have emailed you a link of the panel's hail test.
