The Thule HideAway Awning # TH620001 can definitely be mounted to the roof of a cargo trailer. It has a roof mount design that will require you to drill into the roof of the trailer during the installation. To waterproof the holes I recommend using some self-leveling sealant # 34427034145-1.

Hello. Id like to mount a 12’ Thule Hideaway on a 12’ cargo trailer roof. Do flat roof mount brackets come with it? If not can I buy them? Also can you choose where to put the roof bracket or does the design dictate where it must be mounted. Again I have a 12 ‘ trailer and like to cover the whole length witjvac13 ‘ awning. I’d need to make sure I could mount the brackets “inwards ” at a custom distance from the front and the rear of the trailer.
