Question:
How can I raise the front of my grand Design 5th wheel at the pin box?

Expert Reply:
If you're trying to raise the trailer nose to level it out while towing or gain a bit of clearance between the nose of the trailer and the bedrails of your truck then you can move your pin box down on the mounting ears, if space allows. On a pin box like the Lippert 1116 5th Wheel Pin Box # LC1270271 you have one extra set of holes below on the mounting ears to move the pin box down. Other than that you could replace the pin box you currently have with another that has a greater distance from the king pin plate to the bottom bolt hole to gain a bit more clearance.
